Marcasite Jewelry
Sorry, there are no products in this collection
Antique-style jewelry and accessories have become popular again in recent years. One key ingredient in many antique-style designs is a mineral called marcasite. Marcasite is used in every type of jewelry, including marcasite rings, earrings bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and more.
Marcasite is sometimes called white iron pyrite, and is formed in rocks in such locations as Dover in Kent, England. It is at first pale yellow to almost white with a metallic luster. Over time, marcasite reacts with oxygen and takes on a beautiful brownish patina that gives marcasite jewelry its beauty.
